Sainthood is bestowed by His ﷺ Noble Gazes

Sainthood is bestowed by the blessed gazes of The Noble Messenger of Allah ﷺ, either through the direct transmission of the Muhammadan ﷺ Lights upon the saint, or through an intermediary. It may be, that such intermediaries are from a single source or numerous mediums.
Loving the Prophet ﷺ, His deputies and lovers, imitating their good actions and obeying them is paramount for the receiving of Gnosis. The effects of the Prophetic Light will shine upon the heart, spirit and body of the saint whereby he will acquire some of the attributes of the Beloved of Allah ﷺ, and he will become from those who have been coloured by the colours of Allah, this is the meaning of the verse:
صِبْغَةَ اللَّهِ ۖ وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ مِنَ اللَّهِ صِبْغَةً
“We have taken the colour (religion) of Allah; and whose colour (religion) is better than that of Allah? And only Him do we worship.” -Qur’an 2:138
Through the constant remembrance of Allah a person receives assistance by which the filth of the heart is removed, and once the mirror of the heart is cleansed, spiritual metamorphoses and elevations take place, by which the heart becomes receptive of the secrets and lights of the people of Allah.
