Ya RasoolAllah ﷺ, teach me that which will suffice me
Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Abi Awfa h reported: A man came to the Beloved Prophet ﷺ and he said, “I cannot memorise anything from the Quran, so please teach me what will suffice me.”
The Noble Prophet ﷺ said, “Say: Glory be to Allah, All Praise is due to Allah, there is no god but Allah, Allah is the greatest, and there is no might nor power but with Allah the Exalted, the Almighty.”
The man said, “O Messenger of Allah ﷺ, these words are for Allah, but what is for me?”
The Beloved Prophet ﷺ said, “Say: O Allah, have mercy on me, provide for me, forgive me, and guide me.”
