Five Kalimat of Sayyidah Fatimah al-Zahra

Sayyiduna Ali radiAllahu anhu once asked Sayyidah Zahra radiAllahu anha to ask the Noble Prophet ﷺ for help (as there was no meals). When Sayyidah Zahra radiAllahu anha arrived in the blessed presence of The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, she came to know that, the fire has not been lit for the past thirty days in the blessed house of The Noble Prophet ﷺ (meaning nothing was cooked for such a long time).

The Noble Prophet ﷺ then offered Sayyidah Zahra radiAllahu anha to either take some goats (which arrived recently), or that the Prophet ﷺ would teach Sayyidah Zahra radiAllahu anha five words which had been sent by Allah Ta’ala with Sayyiduna Jibraeel alayhis salaam.

Sayyidah Zahra radiAllahu anha chose the give Kalimat.

Ya Awwal al Awwaleen, Ya Akhir al Akhireen, Ya Dhal Quwwat al Mateen, Ya Rahim al Masakeen, wa Ya Arhamar-rahimeen

O the First of the First, O the Last of the Last, O the Possessor of Absolute Power, O He who shows mercy to the destitute and O the Most Merciful of those who are Merciful. -Al- Tabarani
